looking for a 2.8 good running with low miles for my daily driver

I have a good running 2.8 with a automatic 3 speed transmission coming out of my '88 Formula.
It has 175K miles on it but, It has been well maintained.Does not burn oil or smoke.
With age and miles it may need a new oil pump but to compensate I run 20W50 and all is fine.
I'm asking $350 for both as one piece. If you only need the engine $300.
It will be available later this month when Jeremy from The Fiero Factory installs the 4.9 .
I'm going to try to sell it at the swapmeet on the weekend of April 30~May 1.

i have a 2.8 with 10,000 miles. has alot of upgrades! i have all the paper work and dyno tests on the motor. not only that buy to top it off i also have a 5 speed tranny for sale as well.

I have a under 5k original mile 2.8 but I am way to far from you I think.
It is a prototype's engine from the GM vault and has no VIN stamp

How much do you want for it?

not sure. It is still fully installed in an 87 T-Top GT chassis. Let me know what you think it is worth. Not looking forward to pulling it, but if you are really interested I will.

I am in Brighton a couple of minutes from the I96/US23 interchange. I have an 88 2.8 rebuild (Auto) with 10K miles on it. I pulled it thinking it was bad, I was wrong, the cat was shattered and blocking the exhaust. It is yours if you want it. its just taking up space in my garage. hey rocky i already have a 88 gt and too top it off i already bought a 3800 sc fiero my daily drivers motor is getting tired and i am going to pick up a motor saturday from 6thsf so kiss my a--
