Well I'm sure some of you have read that I bought an 87 nothie. The problem I have with the car is that the front has been wrecked. I knew it going into the buy but my first looks at the car didn't indicate anything serious. After getting the car home and tearing it down its much worse than I expected. I got the body panels to line up pretty good but, the hood is still not to my liking. I'm thinking I would like to find another NON wrecked fiero to move my stuff over too. I have a good Duke motor and my interior is great. Would like to find a solid 86-87 GT with a good platform to work off of. Send me a PM or reply here. Also it would be nice if it were someone close to me so I'm not paying an arm and a leg to get it home. I've been lookoing on e-bay and Craigslist but haven't really found anything close that jumps out at me. Needing a paint job is not a problem. Thanks for the help.

Yes I've seen it. Really I'm a little disappointed in myself for not seeing whats wrong with mine up front before I paid too much for it. I am hoping to find a doner car for pretty cheap that maybe needs a motor and paint. Looking to find something in the $500 range so I'm not just buried in this one. This car is drivable and all and I could go ahead and paint the front clip to match but I was looking for maybe a long term project car that I may wanna show off one day. This car is good if someone just wants a daily driver with good gas milage. I have made the front end good enough for that but I am hoping to find something with a better base to work from later on. Maybe an engine upgrade later on and this car doesn't seem worth it to me to put that kind of effort into. Thanks for the reply though if anything else come up let me know. By the way where is Waterman?? lol

Thanks Wire, I dont have the space to do a full body off frame swap. The city frowns on cars here that are sitting on blocks and such. Hell they gave me a ticket for having my explorer parked in the yard for a week next to my garage! I need a rolling chassis to start with that I can swap parts from mine to that one. Keep me posted if you see anything of interest.

Haha.....everbody asks where Waterman is...........its 10 miles directly south of Dekalb.

Yeah, I think cutting and welding is your best bet, have you tried Car-Part.com........lets you search parts yards by locations.

I will keep an eye out though.

Thanks Maddanceskills. RKB75 made me an offer on his 86 GT seems like a sweet deal. Does anyone know if I'm supposed to close a thread once someone has answered a question or sold a part or whatever. I hate for people to keep looking at a thread that is technically over.
