I have a very limited number of "Jacked up" distributors available.

These distributors have been taken apart and checked over to make sure they're in perfect condition. The bodies have been machined smooth, generally cleaned up and exposed steel painted. I've mounted one of my custom heat sinks, a mag pack and a new pickup coil to insure years of trouble free driving.

You get new screws for your ignition module because the threads are now standard machine screw threads and they're in the heat sink. This gives you lots more holding power and no more metric screw problems. You also get some heat sink compound (grease) to use when you mount your ignition module.

These are very nice units with lots of custom work done to them. If you're worried about ignition "brown outs" this is the solution.

What you see in these pictures is what you get. If you decide to send me your distributor for exchange, just send what's in the pictures. Keep your ignition module, rotor and cap.

Have a look!

I want $250 U.S. + exchange (Assuming your distributor has good bearings)

I will sell them for $300 U.S. no exchange if you prefer.

+ shipping from BC Canada.

I don't plan on making very many more of these. It's a time consuming process for sure.

(Heat sinks and mag packs available individually)

Please PM your orders.

Thanks and Happy New Year!

Damien

That's funny. I did exactly the same thing to fix my stripped out dizzy on my 87 GT years ago. I riveted a heat sink to the dizzy, and drilled and tapped to it.

I'm curious, how long since you did this and have you had any Ignition modules fail since?

I've heard many guys say they are afraid to tighten the screws because there's so little thread there. When you're talking about heat transfer between two parts, tighter is better.

Why thank you.

I'm just trying to make our unique Fiero world a little brighter. Less trouble, more fun.

Cheers.

I'm in the process of building another distributor. It should be done by the end of the week.

PM me.

OK, I'm gearing up for the summer. I have a bit of free time on my hands so I thought I would put even more product on the shelf.

I should have 3 Distributors done by the end of the week. Get'em while they're available.

Thanks to everyone for the support so far. I sincerely hope they are performing a service to the community at large.

To that end, I'm wondering that now that I've sold many on Pennocks, are there any public reviews people would like to share? Good, bad or otherwise? Locally they're a hit but I haven't had much feedback from this forum yet.

Any info would be great.
