I have a 87 SE V6 with a 5 spd (not sure if it is a getrag or isuzu) for sale. It is a rolling chasis. All of the suspension is there along with the engine and transmission. Most of the body panels are gone and the interior is gone as well. The car is somewhat rusty. It has a clear title. I can haul it to you if you live in the local Indy area for an extra $40. If this is not sold by Wednesday the car is going to the junkyard. I am looking for $250 obo. If you are looking for other Fiero parts and are local let me know.

Find out if it's a getrag for me please. I live in indy. I'll take it if it's a getrag.

Unless someone swapped the transmission, it would be a getrag. All the 5 speeds matched with the V6 were getrag.

Not all V6's had getrags, in 85 and 86 they had 4 speed manuals too

He didn't say all manuals mated to v6's were 5 spds, he said all 5 spds mated to v6's are getrags, which is correct. Unless someone swapped it.

So, unless someone swapped it out, the previous post about all v6's matched with 5 spds being getrags is correct.

It must be a getrag then because I never swaped out the transmission. Oh and New Jersey is just a little bit to far but thanks for looking. I am not longer able to tow the car the dolly's axle snapped. Sorry. If this is not sold by Thursday night I am having a wrecker pick it up.
