[EDIT] Already got one, Thanks for looking!!!

As title says.... My shifter cable came un-crimped at the shifter and I need a new one. Hopefully someone out there has one avail ASAP.

I JUST got the car running, A/C charged (ICE cold baby!!! Yea) and drivers seat set in the car temporarily. I was just about to try to take it around the block for the very first time, and that is when I realized the shifter cable was bad. It's odd as the cable was fine after I put the new transmission in, and was testing forward / reverse a few weeks ago.

my Zip is 33463 if you want to check shipping before giving me a really good and cheap price

Hey John, I have an 88 adjustable auto shift cable that I have been told is the more desirable one to have. You can have it for shipping, that way you can pay for overnight service and have your car back on the road Friday for that test drive! Nice meeting you at the show, you were one of my favorite people to talk to there.

Actually, I wanted his parts... but he forgot to get them while he was at the junkyard last weekend He did however offer to pick em up this weekend when he goes back though Not a single Fiero within a 100 miles of here in a junk yard

Thanks for the offer! I sent you a PM.

I noticed you said "back on the road" I have never driven the car at all yet. It got here on a flatbed with a blown motor over a year ago (See my avatar to the left for my first day of Fiero Ownership ). I had the back up in the air a few weeks ago, just to see if the tranny would go in reverse and forward when I got the new engine running and all hahah.

It's not really "drivable" yet, no headlights, tail lights, side markers and on and on, was just gonna toss a seat in it and take it around the block in my neighborhood to see if there are any brake, bearing problems ect.

Now that it is running, the next step is to get it to the paint shop, bring it home and then put it all back together, and hopefully have a nice drivable car in the next couple of months.

@ MadDanceSkiills:

I got a PM from you saying you had not heard back from me. There must me something strange going on with the forum, as I have sent you 4 PM's, and they are in my outbox. I PM"d you with a copy of those 4 messages, as well as emailed you. I am posting in this thread in case you still do not get them, to let you know, yes I am still interested

Just get me your PayPal email address, and I will send out the $40 as soon as I get it.

Thanks!

Ok, after a ping pong of PM's and emails with MadDanceSkills, he does not have a shifter cable

I still need one guys, it is what is keeping me from finally getting to drive it around and test it out......

Yea, something seems to be wrong with the PM's....

I sent MadDanceSKills 3 PM's, and he messaged me a couple of days later asking if I was still interested in the cable, as he had not heard from me. I quoted the three PM's to him to show that I did send them, he just never received them.

Then a couple days later John316 posts that he PM'd me, and there is no message from him in my inbox. John, can you verify that you did in fact send me a PM? If so, this may be worth bringing to Cliff's attention.

Veerrry strange...... I got your Pm that john316 sent you...

Here it is:

"Do you still need one? I have an extra if you need it. Jonathon "

Not sure if he was offering it to you for free or not but I will check the one I offered you in the morning I just got home and I'm tired.

Thanks,
Vince
