We rebuild YOUR fiero getrag 5 speed transaxle with new bearings, new synchros, new seals and gaskets. Install an ep lsd, the quad 4 carrier and spider gears, cryo the case and all internals. this is the strongest you can make your trans, period. starting at $3500.00 pm me for more details
i take it your scoffing at the price... understandable. 300 below cryo treatment is not cheap, the lsd is not cheap, the parts are not cheap and yes you can get a getrag for far cheaper... but you get what you pay for.

I have a question. My car is an auto. If I switch over, I'd actually prefer a F40 6 speed. Can you do the same treatment, or do they not have the available parts for them? I would seriously consider doing the swap if I knew the transmission would hold up to my 3800.
Actually the trans would be new, but I'd like to have it rebuilt with beefier components and cryo-treated.

I'm just thinkin that my $100 junkyard getrag was 1 bracket away from being bolt-in and its held up to 2 years of 500whp abuse. That includes track passes and Mickey T's. Then again, I guess there are people that will sink money into an Iron Duke too...
But yes, I think the price is high. A fully built auto is cheaper than that. Can you guarantee that thing won't shoot the diff out the side on the first launch, warrenty, etc?

i have a brace i built on mine so it does not shoot the diff out...lol. as with any hop up parts, i guarantee it to be what i say it is and a good rebuilt unit but no warranty if you side step the clutch at 6000rpm's. this is not for everyone. i built one for my mera so i can run a fairly hot streetable small block chevy v8. thanks, mike in oklahoma
