apparently the spec3 clutch i have from a 4 speed will not work with my getrag, so i need the correct spec 3 for 5 speed if any one has one, as for the one i have it will be for sale it was not run on my 3.8 set up but was used less than 100miles on V8 looks in great shape i actualy installed it in my trani and bolted it to my motor but apparently it will have issues ,

The PP is the only thing differant about the clutch as the disk is the same for both 4/5 speed....Keep the disk and buy a PP that is made for the 5 speed from Clutchnet........Or you can probally get the correct PP from SPEC but I have never seen then listed seperate but then again I have never looked.....

Weird...
I have a spec 3 clutch from a 5spd getrag in my 4spd manual... I thought the throwout bearing was the only difference?

That works that way as the 5 speed PP is thinner...

so the word from Jeremy at Spec is that like metioned above the PP is different on all aplications of their clutches and i will have issues with the 4 speed PP into a 5 speed so up for sale is a like new spec 3 clutch set up it was used slightly by PO not more then 100 miles its in great shape or i would never have put it on motor, i will take pis of it soon looking to get 150 plus shipping firm I will also have a TOB for a 5 speed brand new its in my trani now has never been run but my new clutch will come with TOB so i will have extra one
