I am in the process of accumulating parts for my 3800 swap. I will be using the auto trans, but the swap car is a 4spd. So I will need parts to convert the car from manual to an Automatic Transmission.
I need: -Auto Shifter **Received from Tstang429** -Clutch Master cylinder sheet metal plug (on auto cars to block MC hole) -87-88 4cylinder A/C Lines for swap -Radiator Lower support

I went manual to auto for a 4.9l swap, and we didn't replace the interior harness, "TCC/Cruise brake switches", or any other stuff besides the engine harness obviously, auto trans mounts, auto shifter, and auto shift cable. Never had a problem with anything, cruise worked after I hooked it up later, and the brakes shut it off, TC locked up fine, and everything else worked as it should. Just to make sure, you ARE using the 4T65 auto, right? Don't use the 125...but I think you're smart enough to know that.
For the automatic trans cooler, I just mounted a cooler in the back in a place that caught some wind. Never had a problem whatsoever, and I beat the piss out of that car. I know several other people that have done this with no ill effects. I just left the clutch line, master cylinder/etc in there in case I wanted to go to manual later. I have done 2 automatic engine swaps and regretted going auto both times, but maybe you aren't as partial to sticks as I am.

The only reason I am going to an automatic interior harness is because the PCM needs a TCC brake switch input, which is only available in the auto harness. I also want the shifter light. I like autos better and I dont have any intention of going back to a manual. So I want to make the car an auto as it came from the factory.
let me know if you have ANY of what I have listed in the first post:
-85-88 Interior Wiring Harness for V6 automatic -86-88 GT rear harness with cruise -Clutch Master cylinder sheet metal plug (on auto cars to block MC hole) -TCC/Cruise brake switches -87-88 4cylinder A/C Lines for swap

I really need these parts ASAP. I will even do some VERY generous trades for these parts:
DO you happen to have ANY of the following for my swap?
-85-88 Interior Wiring Harness for V6 automatic -86-88 GT rear harness with cruise -Clutch Master cylinder sheet metal plug (on auto cars to block MC hole) -TCC/Cruise brake switches -87-88 4cylinder A/C Lines for swap
Thanks Matt
