Basically, its an 86 GT AT with a very good interior (needs headliner), a fresh engine (5k), a solid body, 1 new sail panel (and a second new cracked sail panel...), that needs a headliner, driver's side coolant tube, a heater core, and either a master cylinder (my guess) or a brake fluid change and bleed (my mechanic's guess). Runs and drives very well (other than pouring coolant out of the driver's side coolant tube). New engine (rebuilt by the PO), RR caliper, RF caliper, brake pads, water pump, radiator, assorted hoses, Rodney Dickman headlight kits, and a lot more. Also comes with a 4.9 engine (condition unknown, e-bay buy bought as a "good running engine"), 4.9 conversion mounts (old Fiero Factory style), serpentine belt kit, a manual flywheel (as I was going to run a 4 speed), and assorted other 4.9 parts...everything to do a 4.9 conversion minus the harness, time, computer, and exhaust. $800 is firm...or I'd consider a trade for a late 40's or very early 50's project.
To those interested, coolant leak is now fixed. Turns out it was the hose behind the left rear wheel. If it doesn't sell by the end of July, I'm going to pop for the $91.00 in parts that it needs (heater core and master cylinder), re-do the headliner, have a friend re-paint it black, detail it out, and sell it for $2500 give or take. I drove it today for about 45 mninutes and, other than weak brakes, it drives nicely.

I have someone coming to look that does not want the conversion stuff...but he does want the other parts that I have (headlight assemblies, ect...). If he buys it, I'd be able to sell the 4.9 stuff cheaply, as I'd have no use for it. I'll PM you before posting it if that should happen...I won't count it as sold until the money is in my hand.

Please get back to me about the 4.9 and all things 4.9 related you have. I can pick them all up from you to put some money in your pocket because it seems like those who are interested in the car have no interest in the 4.9. Thanks.

Thats fine....I should be home before 4pm. We are staying an extra night (because my dad booked his spot to Saturday) and leaving at 9am. 5.5 hour drive with stops...and right past Pittsburg, too. (down 79 to 76 to 15)
Very happy to post that Deggs bought the Fiero. I am very happy to see it go to someone who will appreciate it. Watching it drive away was sad, though...
Chandler, I expect I'll be hearing from you this week about the 4.9 stuff...
Neil, I passed your phone number on to the man who I know who wanted the whole package. I dont know if he even called you, but he seemed fairly apprehensive the more I tried to talk him into it! Sorry I couldnt help more......
Glad to hear that car is going to a good home! Chris
