The way that you mount your 3800 will determine the length of the axles. In other words, WCF , Purplereign, Fierox and home made mounts all can locate the powertrain slightly differently. Unless you are using a given repeatable system with matching axles, it is unlikely that a generic fit axle will provide the optimum fit.On my 3800 SC Series III
the driver Fiero auto axle will not fit. Neither did the axle made up from the GTP axle bar, Fiero outer and 4T65eHD inner cups. It was a good 1" too long.
Point is the best way to get proper fitting 3800SC axles is to measure up and either asemble an axle or visit a CV axle shop and tell them what you need. if you want to buy a made up axle from a member here, I would still advise measuring and passing this info on.
