~~SOLD~~
Steering wheel for Fiero GT. I made this myself. Used an original GT wheel, cut the rim off of it, fitted it with a stainless steel core and laminated two rings of walnut to it.

Since this uses a GT steering wheel hub and spokes, it fits on your Fiero with NO modifications.

$100 plus shipping in the USA.

Beautiful job on that wheel...If I was into the tan / beechwood interior colors I'd be all over this.

I would have to imagin if he made these to sell or made them to order, they would not be sold for $100. I would have to guess he sold this one for that price because his project changed direction... Recovered wheels typically sell for $400 and up depending on the style...

I have about 25 hours into the wheel, not counting the cost of the laser-cut core and the cost of the original wheel. They would be very expensive indeed to reproduce. I would be glad to share with anyone how to do it if you're interested in making one for yourself.
-----------------------------------------
The buyer asked me why I sold the wheel. I had to sell my car. https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum4/HTML/054970.html

I have a permanent back injury and now have difficulty getting in and out of a Fiero. It broke my heart to sell it - I had done a ton of great uprades on it and I had lots of cool projects lined up (as you can tell from all the cool parts I have recently sold.) The car's new owner is going to do a lambo re-body and preferred the stock wheel. So there it is. I have not mentioned my situation to anyone in any of the for-sale posts since I don't like telling stories about myself, but the parts are just about all gone, and you asked...

I feel better.
