I figured I'd ask before throwing them out. All 4 work fine, removed them today to replace with Pioneer 4x10s and 4x6s. They came from an 87GT w/ premium sound if it makes a difference.
Edit to say- $12 shipped and they're yours, thats to cover the USPS flat rate box that costs about $11.

Solotwo is currently first in line. I'll check the numbers on the speakers for you in a bit Johnny- but I'm going to ship all 4.. All I want for these is the cost of shipping, I have too much crap taking space and if someone doesn't speak for them asap- they are garbage to me.

Nitro, how does the new Pioneers sound, was thinking about putting them in as well?
Ah perfect, I was just gonna bump to say that they went to solotwo.
To be honest I don't think I can give you a proper answer. They were definitely more crisp than stock, seemed to have a little more ooomph to them. However- this is only my 2nd aftermarket speaker install so I don't have much to compare to- in comparison to the Kenwoods I installed on my dad's work van they sound much better. Also I'm still running the stock radio (looking for a new deck and the reception is garbage with lots of static and background noise. I guess I'll find out how good they really are when I get a deck.
Ok cool thanks for the info, I replaced the stock radio with a Pioneer unit, nothing special, but I too get shity reception with the static & noise, was hoping it would sound better once I put some new speakers in to go along with the new radio? later

You still get crappy reception with the Pioneer? Hmmm, I'm clueless when it comes to audio, does the radio do anything to amplify reception or is it all up to the antenna?
