My speedometer is reading slow, maybe 7 MPH slow. I Got me a good used blue 30 tooth gear for my car, thinking that was what I needed. When I removed the VSS to put on the new gear, I had a real nice blue one already.
The white automatic only gear has 31 teeth and would normally come on a car with 215-60-R-14" tires.
To remove the Vss and the white gear:
If yours has the square metal clip, all you need to do is pull up on it until it disengages and withdraw the VSS . The gear will just come off of the VSS. Photo robbed from SpaceCoastFieros.
