It has found a new home. I look forward to seeing finished pictures.
I picked up a Mera/308 style body kit with thoughts of chopping the top and installing it. It was removed from an 86. It hasn't been modified. Left rear quarter will need some work and some work overall. All parts are there, but it will need some work. Paint is faded and could use some work. I have no idea on shipping costs or weight. Figure shipping from Texas. You can measure and weigh some factory parts for a rough idea of shipping cost to you.

I'll post pics direct here later, but here is the Craigslist. http://easttexas.craigslist.../pts/2754310795.html
Did you just but this? I emailed this guy or maybe you the other day about looking at it but he was out of town.....
Poe, yeah, it is mine. I figured it would be a cool way to do a chop top Mera 308 without tearing up a good car. I ran into the Finale kit just days after buying this Mera. I have too many projects to take this Mera on anytime soon.

I think you're at mile marker 101 and I'm at mile marker 156. So a LOT closer to each other than we were. Fierohobby- you really can't go wrong for the price. You'd have more in materials and this saves a LOT of time.

Posted pics. Mike, I know what you mean about timing. I found a Finale body within days of buying this (I don't have your talents to create, I have to modify). I didn't have a chassis to mount this to and now I have 3 extra. Was looking for an 88 so I bought a coupe and then a couple of days later bought an engine swap already mounted on an 88 cradle. Got LOTS to sell off to get down to my project. Watching the progress of yours! I can only imagine what this 308 would end up looking like in your hands.
Deposit received. Looks like Santa will be getting a new red sleigh in OK. Always good doing business with you as well. Sent additional pics you requested.

That’s the way to go. I've been thinking of buying a real 308 for a few years now and convert it over. The 288 GTO or the car pictured above looks so good. Was going to build the wife’s car like this but at the time I could not find a kit.
i love the look of those widebodies 308 unfortunately i don't have a 308, so does anyone know it they make the fender flares for the 355 (which i do have)?
thanks

Mike, I'd love to see what you would do with this body. It is complete enough to make it easy and rough enough where you don't feel guilty modding it. Love the progress on your car.

It would be fun but with moving to San Antonio in a few months. It is bad timing for me. Would be a good deal for someone.

I have been looking for a 308/328 style door scoop. I assume i will need to cast my own but am looking. I want to add a second scoop to my car up higher as part of a redesign.
