Here is the 88 when it rolled of the trailer.
Pictures of the car from October when I washed the car to get all the dust off it from sitting in the garage for a couple of months. It was raining outside also. After 3 hours in the rain, the inside of the car was dry, as Bobby said, the t-top doesn't leak.

Engine before it went in the car. I don't think I got a picture after I put the axles in.
Engine in the car.
May need to trim the hinge a little more for the belt. I cut it close.

No. Bobby, fieroguy123, built a Delta 204-T replica. He installed a Sunbird Turbo 4 cyl and 5 speed transmission in the car. He sold the engine/transmission and I bought the rolling chassis.

Greg, Thanks, but not interested in another car. There are a few things on my want list for my purple GT that I would take as partial trade:
Also would take some AusFiero scoops, but they seem to run a lot higher in price then JimmyS scoops. I'll add to this if there is something else I might take in partial trade.

so what is left to make it a driver? what % is left to do? How much $ to finish. Looking for a daily driver and it has to be an 88, auto. 3800SC would be a bonus.

I'll filter out the answer from the first post...

For what it would cost you, I guess that price is going to depend on if you finish it right or wrap it up with some used parts and half-ass completing it (I did an install for someone that wanted me to recycle his used hoses and clamps to save money, almost ruined the engine). I guess you need to buy your radiator and heater hoses, coolant to fill the system, oil and filter, transmission hose, clamps, some hose for vacuum lines, fuel hose to hookup the quick disconnects, alignment since the cradle has been out of the car. You need to install the starter, I have it here in the part pile. Since a few wires need soldered, you need a soldering iron, some solder, tape. Maybe some other things to complete the detail depending on if you like what you see (maybe you want to low-mount the alternator). I'm not going to guess at prices.
If you are asking what it would cost for me to finish the car for you (I have had a few PM's asking this)? Nothing. I'm traveling for work the next 3 months. I fly out of Dayton Monday morning and on Friday take a 2:30pm flight from Dallas that gets me home around 6pm. It gives me the weekend to do laundry, repack my bags, spend time with my wife and daughter, and sometimes I have to work on top of that. If I still own the car at the end of March, I will finish it and raise the price a couple grand if the market will allow it. I won't finish it and sell it for $3,000.

I was not asking for you to finish, I understood that you would not be doing that. I guess when your familar with the swap, listing parts that need to be installed makes sence, the reason I was asking was seeing a list of parts, some installed, some not, didn't do it for me. I was attempting to gage the amount of time/money it would take to make it a running car. I am looking for a daily driver, and what I read makes this a good candidate. Having spent some time doing a 3.4 DOHC swap, I know how easy it is to get the first 90% done, but the last 10% becomes the toughest.
Thanks for the reply.

Thank you for letting me and my brother stop in and check out this sweet car. It was everything we thought it would be, unfortunately we don't currently have the space for it. Trying to make room as we speak, if its still for sale when we are done I will let you know =D.

Hope I didn't come off wrong, hope people read that post as fact, not emotional. If I had the time left I would finish it. I bought the chassis in late June and I started traveling every other week for work at the end of July. Getting this far was a pain with only every other weekend available. Then it started to get cold and I had to get all the cars in the garage (the deal with my wife is that cars go in the garage so we don't have to scrape snow at 7am). I can post a picture of my garage and you will see that most of the problem is getting around the two cars. I have two Fieros nose to tail in my 3rd bay, daily drivers are in the first two bays. -Brian

No worries, like I said, I spent almost 6 years doing my DOHC swap, for the same reason as you. I was active duty Navy and deployed 4 times during the build. I'd be gone for months at a time, and the project just sat in the garage with no progress. When I did get home, I wanted to spend time with the family and so year after year went by.
Thanks for the reply.

I actually saw the car in person when I went over there to sell him my old 3800sc exhaust, and help install the 3800SC onto the cradle. Very nice indeed.
Mstangs, you'll drive to Cali for a car. This is only OH. Sounds like a good reason for a roadtrip. Bump for ya.
I made the trip up there a few years back to buy a 3800 swap setup from the seller...Was a 28 hour trip straight there and back with a friend from work...Trip was not bad till about the 25th hour and both of us could not see straight....With gas as high as it is it would be cheaper to ship the car at this point.....
Looks like a lot of the potential buyers are in Dallas... I need to get together with you guys while I am traveling down there to Garland TX. That is where I have been going and will be going every week until April or maybe May now.
Stephen did come up and get a 3800sc motor from me. That was pretty crazy.
I did a mapquest and it is roughly 1,000 miles from Dallas, TX to Bellbrook, OH. So if it is 2,000 round trip and your truck gets 12 mpg, that is 167 gallons of fuel. Gas average is about $3.50/gal so it would run you about $600 in gas. That doesn't include your time, food or hotel if you can't do a crazy straight run. I would think that you could ship it for around $600, but I have never looked into it.
