SpeedDawg carries officially licensed GM shift knobs, for both Firebird and Trans-Am. The latter somewhat resembles a Pegasus with spread wings. The thread size is the same as the stock Fiero at 16mm x 1.50

https://www.speeddawg.com/shift-knobs/gm-licensed-series/trans-am

Seems to be the closest that I've run across without being custom made and priced. At least they're Pontiac related.

welcome to the fourm. Please note the "search" button on the upper right of the main page. Please learn how to use it. You will find that if you take a minute to search for something you are looking for, you will find it. Enjoy

Please note I did use the "search" button and searched everything around shifter, custom, personalized, shift knob. If you take a minute to explore the site this is the only thing about a "shift knob" and the only other post that comes up is for custom length shift cables wich won't really help since I'm not looking for that at the moment

I have had issues with the search myself... not because it does not work but because people think its fun to use titles that are generic like " look what I found" if you search what they found you get nothing. So unless you know the thread name ur sol.

Welcome to the forum....

I would say try ebay, but I did that and got a cool shift knob with an awesome fiero logo, but the stem hole diameter was to small for my shift arm. So when I eventually get a drill press I will drill it out. I tried using a stone in my drill but the time it was taking was insane. Might take it to a machine shop and have it done, but its low priority right now. Maybe if I ever take on a brake upgrade and have my rotors machined I will do it then.

These guys make custom knobs with the proper thread insert and will do embedded emblems, including other Pontiac logos. If there was enough interest they might add the Fiero logo to the list.

i bought 2 of these had one with m3 logo cut down to fit for my bmw.
They make it shorter mine is short shifter but they do sit lower on the stick.
I don't really rave about logo as mine did come off once but very happy with it.

I make billiard ball shifters in my free time. They are larger than a stock knob, and feel a lot firmer. They also sit a little lower than a stocker.
