We now have a ChopTop Kit available for the Pontiac Fiero chassis

This Chop Top kit is not for the beginner welder or fabricator. It requires structural welding & cutting. By purchasing this kit you are certifying that you understand the structural integrity of the Fiero chassis & are capable of maintaining that integrity with your welding & fabricating skills. And you understand that screwing up the welding & thus the structural integrity of the chassis can put lives & health in danger.

It also requires fiberglassing skills. You will be doing some fiberglassing on the body as you put it back together.

The Kit for the fastback Fiero GT consists of the following:
1 pair of Glass Side windows
1 set (4 pc.) of Left & Right “A” & “B” pillar covers for the interior. Allowing for the 3” ChopTop
1 pair of the GT quarter window inside trim triangles
A wood pattern for the rear window.
A glass rear window
A set of complete instructions for the chassis work & the necessary body work.
The total price for this kit is $1650.00.

The Kit for the notchback Fiero body style consists of the following:
1 pair of Glass Side windows
1 set (4 pc.) of Left & Right “A” & “B” pillar covers for the interior. Allowing for the 3” ChopTop
A wood pattern for the rear window.
A glass rear window
A set of complete instructions for the chassis work & the necessary body work.
The total price for this kit is $1500.00.

Option:
If you want to have your own rear window made locally, you can subtract $200.00 from the prices & use the wooden pattern to have your window made locally. This also will save as much as $100.00 on shipping costs.

This is a limited offer, for now I'm going to limit it to 10 kits.

Archie

Sure Archie! Add some more fuel on the fire, I've been thinking hard on this one for awhile and now you have a do it yourself march along with you to boot.... Maybe so now... Thanks for all your hard work for Fieroville.

Here is a bump and maybe a sale soon

Fierorama is coming soon I may pick one up from you and bring it back then.

Would you be willing to sell just the glass? I am planning on doing a custom interior and do not wish to use stock looking panels. and do u still have your lexan side windows for sale as well? I love the real glass ones but the way I am choping it I may need to do alittle more trimming thanks!

So if I can't finish this on my own, will you come to my house and do it for me?

Seriously, I would buy this right now if I was in the states.

Pm me with the price for just the inner sail panel pieces.

I saw one of Archies chop tops and it looked super. If I had the time to do it ( and complete it) , I would buy this kit. It really improves the appearance of the Fiero. I would estimate that the conversion would take a fabricator with ordinary skills about 80-100 hours to complete.

I was wondering, did the price get adjusted from the original post? I am interested in the kit,but price seems different, could be mixed up with all the projects I have been looking at and pricing.

Chopping isn't as hard as it sounds. With the kit, it would be even simpler. If I had the cash, I would have gone this route. I am cheap though.
