Me as well... Timo should already have me listed as an interested party from the other threads - however, repetition is always an option is always an option.

OK, I will be making a complete list of everyone that has expressed interest. I should have it ready in the next few days as I have to go through the threads, pm's and emails. F1F ------------------ Fiero1Fan

Thanks for posting Timo. Progress is being made, and I have dropped the drawings off and one of the prototype buckets that were not coated (and are extremely rusty). They are looking it over for me.

Yes you are. This is a new machine shop without the issues the old one had, so I am hoping the price will turn out the same as before. This is a placeholder thread currently for those who are interested, and I will be updating the first thread with information as it comes in. Timo will be informed of all steps along the way.

Bump to the top.. Shop has reviewed the plans...
Prices are looking good to stay the same without an increase, and there is a slight chance of a small price drop. Nothing promised yet.

Buckets are in process. I do not have an ETA at this point, but the pricepoint is looking about the same... 195 plus shipping, puts it at 215 per set shipped US. Canada post adds 10. The last batch of buckets, shipping to Canada averaged right around 28 dollars a package. Went back to the old shop, for the record. The new shop wanted a fortune for the buckets, which would have set the price close to 400 bucks a set. The old shop is doing them for the same price, and the problem child who was in charge of the last bucket project is no longer there. This one is being handled by the shop owner directly. Got a reply from Chris (Synthesis) - the buckets are heading in for Zinc plating shortly - I guess the shop wanted to verify specs against one of the leftovers from last years' run. Things are moving forward

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am happy to announce that the buckets have been welded and machined, and are stacked in the crate to be sent to the electro-plating shop... Basically, the buckets will be finished within the next two to three weeks, and shipping will commence then. The price is the same as before, 215 shipped to your door. Canadian orders, add another 10. There is a waiting list for buckets already. 50 sets have been ordered, and we should be good to go in less than a month. I will keep you up to date on the buckets over the next few weeks. I will talk with Timo about starting the ordering and payment process.

They are 90MM headlight brackets, the original and still the best. Pre-finished CNC'ed holes: Simply paint and install.

Read the other thread... disappointing that you can't do the harnesses anymore. I was hoping to grab it all in one shot.

I understand. I can build them myself, but the going will be extremely slow due to the wrists. If I can find someone local where I can monitor quality control, I'd be more than happy to continue production. I still have enough supplies on me to build another 7 or 8 harnesses.

Bump to the top: Long discussion with Timo today, and we have decided to make a special offer for the first eight customers... FREE SHIPPING FOR THE FIRST EIGHT US CUSTOMERS. Canadian clients, shipping is a flat 10 dollars for this offer. This is for the first eight sets only. I will cover all US shipping costs on these eight sets. What this means to you... Buckets are $195.00 plus shipping, which usually brings them to 215. If you are one of the first eight, your costs will be $195.00. (Again, Canadian buyers, add 10 bucks. Sorry, Canadian shipping is EXPENSIVE.) A list is being created with the first eight names that successfully place their orders and send their payments.
