Someone left my 4.9 out in the rain... long story short, I need someone to make me a new T-stat filler housing...

I borrowed these images...

And I would like it clocked about 30 degrees towards the distributor such that I can get the bolts in and out easier, like this one.

I can send you the parts or you can source them locally, either way, what I really need is someone that can weld to do this for me. Let me know your price.

Thanks.

Jonathan

Hey Steve,

Let me know... I can't even start my car with a gaping hole in the manifold.

Stephen, you got any welding skillz to help me out here?

I could try it myself, but it would take me about 10 tries before I got it remotely right.

Is the bottom of the fill neck the Fiero style or some thing different? PM me the details as I never jacked with a 4.9 before.

Johnathan,

This is very simple to make. I recomend you take a neck you have and cut it/clock it into position. Take it to a muffler shop with a $20 bill an walk into the back shop (not the front counter) and ask someone to weld it for you. 10 minute job.
