For Sale: I posted it originally on craigslist $800 (OBO), car sold as is.

Can be used as parts car, or rebuild.

Fiero 1986 GT Automatic

Have had the car since 2002. Body Kit was installed in
the mid 90's from previous owner.

Selling as a parts-car , or if you're a mechanic can get
the car running again.

The BAD:
- Last time car went on the road was 3yrs ago. Has been
sitting idle parked since then. Because of this the car
probably will need a engine rebuild or engine swap.
- The trunk door lock is broken, as the key was snapped
in half and stuck. Therefore I haven't been able to
access the battery to recharge it and turn it on. May
need to put a 9volt battery to the trunk switch on the
Driver side to pop open the trunk. Will need a locksmith
or method of putting a 9volt battery at the front to pop
open trunk, to this day i cant open it.
- The original issue (when the battery/trunk was
accessable) was that the car would not shift to second or
third gear because the throttle would get stuck, I tried
adding WD-40 but only partially helped. Never fixed the
problem so car stayed on first gear.
- Car will need new paint job. Body kit will need
touching up if you're familiar with fiberglass as parts
have taken their toll.
- Fuel gage will tell you its 50% empty, when in reality
its full, So you have to rely on speedometer to tell you
when it reaches 360Miles to refuel ( i think its 360miles
for the tank last i drove). Otherwise swap the sensor in
the fuel tank and it will fix the problem.
- Quarter glass on driver needs new fiberglass or
replacement on driver side. Been like that since 2002.
- Great as a part-car, or if you have a spare engine to
swap it with or are familiar with engine rebuilds then
the car will run great and only needs new paintjob and
interior cleaning. It may not need an engine rebuild, its
just that I can't figure out why it wont shift to the
next gear, before parking it in 2008 car ran great, then
I didn't insure it for a couple of years and when i tried
running the car again the throttle would get stuck in
HIGH RPMS because it wouldn't jump to the next gear.

The good:
- Airconditioning works
- Originally came with its built-in subwoofer. But i
removed it because the speaker kept blowing. But the
wiring is still there.
- Wheels are good
- Still catches peoples eyes when it ran in late 2000's.

Location: British Columbia

Sale:
Looking to get it off my parking lot make me an offer.
More importantly I
need it off my parking lot as soon as possible as its
using up space.

Since I can't access the battery to put the car in
reverse, we need to call two-truck to transport it to
final destination.

OLD Images (mid 2000's)

Engine images (2012):

<--- New KeyLock Needed for Trunk
<--- New KeyLock Needed for Driver side. Passenger side has keylock and works fine.

Make it easy on yourself and your buyer. If you have a battery or other 12 volt source, plug it into your cigarette lighter and pop the trunk with the button on the dash. It will work.
The easiest method I've seen or used. I made up a special cord just for that purpose, using the cord and socket end from an old 12 volt car vac that no longer worked. It is in the Fiero only tool box.

The "Make Offer"s don't do well here. What's the lowest you'd get rid of it for? My starting offer, $500. Subject to change.
