For those of you who are familiar with my headlight build in the general fiero chat section, I am ready to start offering these BOLT ON light kits for sale.

NO CUTTING, NO FIBERGLASSING, NO DRILLING and can return to stock if you need to.

For those who have not seen them, and are interested in the build, take a moment to visit this thread:

https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/087489.html

Let's start with a few pictures:

This is just the 2 outer lights on, with 3000K (gold) bulbs. The two inner lights provide a much wider angle of illumination because they are pushed forward more.

This is the very nice, uniform light spread with only 2 projectors on (inners), low beam, and 35W bulbs. So basically the lowest light output setting possible:

Here is the area of unlit space in front of the car (extremely minimum compared to all other Fiero flushmount kits)

I will try to get better pictures with a camera that does night shots better.

The price for a set in the group buy will be $410 US + shipping

You would receive:

- 2 lenses (VERY durable, see video below) (laser cut for precision fit)

- 2 buckets
- 2 aiming brackets
- 2 mounting brackets

- All hardware
- 4 Bixenon projectors (They accept H1 bulbs)

- 4 projector shrouds [Your choice of the mini gatling gun (chrome) , or mini graphite (smoked clear)]

- Instructions

The kit comes unpainted and you would need to supply your own HID kits and wire them. Do not use 55W HID kits with these projectors! Buy the 35W kits, they are plenty bright especially with 4 lights on.

It's a time consuming process to make these so I really cannot offer to paint them for you, etc. They're not overly difficult to install. If you can turn a wrench you can install them. No cutting necessary, bolt in and if you don't like them, bolt out.

So, let us begin the SECOND group buy!

I would like to get at least 5 people in on the group buy for the second round.

To get on the group buy list, I will require a $100 deposit upfront, and then you can pay the rest when the sets are ready to ship out. Turn around time is a couple of weeks (2-3). There is no price mark up on the projector lights and shrouds. You are getting them at cost.

Please PM me with your name, contact information, address, paypal info (I can do online bank transfer too) and please specify which projector shrouds you would like. You can do all 4 the same, or a pair of the mini gatlings + a pair of the clear smoked ones.

Thank you! Please post any questions you may have

You want to get H1 HID kits. A complete kit will come with ballasts and bulbs.

If you buy them separately, you will need H1 bulbs and then ballasts separately. The bulbs come with the wires necessary to plug into the ballasts.

When you buy the ballasts, they aren't dependent on the bulb size. All of the Chinese ballasts have universal bulb connectors. Just stay away from anything that reads DS2 bulbs or the like. Regular HID ballasts will do.

Got you on the list!

Is there any way to run this kit non-HID? As in standard halogens in your projectors?

Thanks!

I want 2 of these, correct? which wire harness? I do not trust my 25+ year old factory wiring. I have a 0AWG wire with a distributuion block ran up front that i'd rather use to power these. I'd like to just use factory wiring as a signal for the relay if possible. what do you recommend?

It was brought to my attention that regular halogen H1 bulbs will not fit these housings. Sorry about that!

I know it would save money in the meantime, however, the HID upgrade is more than worth it. It will be leaps and bounds above your stock light output.

Yes you would need two of them. Those are expensive, but they do look like excellent quality kits. If you order them with the H4/9003 harness and the heavy duty relay, I believe that will just use your stock harness as a signal. The relay can be fed from your distribution block up front.

To be 100% certain, just shoot them an email saying you'd like to run your headlights off of a distribution block and use your stock H4 plugs as signals. They are very helpful and can confirm this. I've never dealt with that kit before.

Also, you might want to message Oslo. He is putting together a wiring harness for this kit and I know he sells HID kits as well. He might be able to provide you with an eta of when the harnesses will be ready. Always nice to support Fiero vendors too

Thank you!

We also have one more person on the list who has yet to sign up to the forum. Hopefully he gets on here soon!

I'm hoping I can get these by Aug. 8th if it is possible, then I can show off your work at NW FieroFest and rake in some new customers for you.

Also, i'd love to support Oslo, not sure on the quality of his parts though as i haven't heard input from anyone else using them. I did see a thread somewhere of the retrofitsource ballasts fell out of a car and got drug down the road for a few miles through the pouring down rain. got scuffed up pretty badly where it was nearly unrecognizable, but he claimed they still worked, didn't even take any water damage while bouncing through the puddles. I believe they are a bit cheaper than Oslo's also.

Hmm Aug 8th might be a stretch but we'll see what we can do. Depends how many orders come in that I have to fill. It's pretty time consuming to make these but I'll try!

MadMark,

got your deposit and you're on the list, thank you!

Nightonfire, thank you so much for the pictures and the quick install. They look amazing on your ride!

Here are some pictures for those who don't want to click links:

Hope to see even more pictures from that show, as well as other members' installs.

I'll start making this next batch this week. I will keep the group buy open for another day or two while I make lenses. I usually have to order excess material for the lenses anyways so I don't need an exact number of people in this next batch.

Thank you again to everyone for your orders. It means a lot and I'm excited to get this second batch made.

Chris

I have done lots of research on these particular projectors and how to get the best preformance out of them. If anyone would like some tips/advice or anything really, feel free to ask. There is a trick to getting better distance vision if you would like also.
