Not to derail the topic but fast absolutely doesn't equal driving pleasure- at least not for me.
My DD is a base grand prix with a swapped in 3800+ lots of zzp goodies running a 3.4". It runs with LS1 fbodies all day long- but fwd+auto just suck IMO.

bah people just need to rebuild trans.... 20 year old trans with double the power yea its going to bust. I saw grand prix's blowing their trans. Both my cars are manuals wouldn't have it any other way... And the lsd in fiero makes for a wicked launch.
One thing I hated with my prix was the last gear after 90 it kinda fell on its face. But yeah it had no problems hitting 140... But everyone has opinions I would take an auto still

if i think too much more about it, i will talk myself out of this deal. but, with that cruise home as a major incentive, its almost necessary for me to be able to drive it back to MI for this deal to proceed. on a scale of 1-10 how confident are you that it will make it??

well thats me out............ the person that wants to buy my, TA says they want it but, they "have to save the money"and thats "going to take months"
darn it.......so i guess i had better bow out now.....sorry i was hoping to come get this but alas, my horrible luck strikes again. good luck with sale....and if its still around "months" from now. i will be back
