Nothing wrong with the used ones, I test all boosters before they go out, used and new ones. (The only thing wrong with used ones, is that it is insanely hot during the day here, 112+ degs, and pulling them in the heat sucks for me untill next month and the heat goes away, thus the sale on the new ones) The main differences are the new(reman'd) ones have all new rubber and seals inside and have a gray rustproof coating. The used ones are black on the outside. I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'adapt the linkage' .?.? Edit to add: If you mean take the parts off the booster I sell and add them your self to another booster, then no. I have all the tools and equiment to be able to do. Thus the service I offer. I take the parts from both a Fiero booster and the bigger one and combine them to make 1 bigger booster that will fit a Fiero. (Not counting denting the Fiero slightly for fitment) [This message has been edited by sardonyx247 (edited 08-09-2012).]

I finally got mine installed last night. I took some-one else's advice and mounted the bracket to the firewall first and then the booster to that. Still a hassle with pulling the booster in and out for "clearancing". I tried sockets and various open and box end wrenches. Still, for the most part, one flat at a time. What a pain! I wandered into Sears to see what they could do for me and found this: http://www.sears.com/gearwr...ockNo=1&blockType=G1Easy-peasy and worth every penny.

I wouldn't install it by putting the bracket on the firewall first. That seems like the hard way to do it. That would be 8 nuts in a limited space instead of just 4. All of the ones I have installed for people I have left the bracket on the booster. Other people have commented in the original thread how easy it was to install. Sounds like you took the hard way.
