I just got finished PC'ing some 88 caliper bridges in red.
The parts were first media-blasted, then 2 coats of black were applied to the entire bridge. The two black coates were used for rust-protection in the unseen areas and also to aid in filling the casting marks & pits. I had to sand between coats to get the bridges nice and smooth looking. Two heavy coats of red were applied to the visable or seen area of the bridges; however, with the over-spray, most of the bridge looks red.
The bridges are near-perfect with only a few very minor casting inperfections visable up close. I tried my best to coat them so they would not show through, but it wasn't happening. The buyer will have to remove the PC from the matting surfaces using sandpaper or a razor blade. The pad pin holes will also need to be cleaned out for installation...
SOLD

Keep in mind I do these in my spare time to keep the cost down. Between my time (about 2.5-3 hrs w/ the prep & sanding) and the materials, Im not making that much.

Will be sending you my set of 88 calipers unless someone on the forum has a spare set they want to sell and I will send you those, so the car is not down.
