I have a few Gentex GNTX-177 Self dimming mirrors for sale. All I have left are some compass only self dimming mirrors..$30 shipped to the lower 48
Have 3 left...
I realize that with GPS the compass is pretty useless and thats not the reason I got these. The self dimming is. Got used to it in my newer cars and didnt realize what a difference it makes till I got a car without it. The compass is just a geeky bonus...LOL These make a nice addition to any vehicle. Easy two wire hookup for the compass only mirror. I will provide a wiring diagram or you can look it up on Google. All of these have been tested and are in great shape. Will fit any vehicle with standard wedge mount button on windshield. I also have a couple of good buttons. If you need one just ask.
I'd like to get $30 for the compass mirrors shipped in the lower 48.
Have these posted on a few car sites so first come, first serve.
Paypal gladly accepted.
Thanks.

Found this on the internet. Might help somebody. For the 7 position plug only.
PIN 1 = PINK = POWER = +12 volts* PIN 2 = BLACK = CHASSIS, GROUND* PIN 3 = LIGHT GREEN = BACKUP LIGHTS* If not using the backup feature, connect this to ground otherwise auto dim will not function properly. PIN 4 = GRAY = TO AUTO DIM OUTSIDE MIRROR PIN 5 = PINK = TO AUTO DIM OUTSIDE MIRROR PIN 6 = DARK GREEN/WHITE = TEMP SENSOR**
PIN 7 = BLACK/WHITE = TEMP SENSOR**16 pin: (*required; **required if you have a temp display)
If the colors are different, the pin position will remain the same, or so I read. Gentex made and sells these to GM, Ford, M Benz, etc. Often times the harnesses are made by the auto companies as part of their car. They use the colors of wire that suits them. ----- Original Message -----

I have a few Gentex GNTX-177 Self dimming mirrors for sale. I have two styles, ones with compass only and ones with compass/temp. I only have two of the compass/temp combo mirrors.
These make a nice addition to any vintage vehicle. Easy two wire hookup for the compass only and 4 wire hookup for the compass/temp. I will provide a wiring diagram or you can look it
up on Google. All of these have been tested and are in great shape. Will fit any vehicle with standard wedge mount button on windsheild. I also have a couple of good buttons. If you need one ask.
I'd like to get $30 for the compass only and $35 for the compass/temp mirrors shipped in the lower 48. You will need to provide the temp sender but they are like 3 bux on rockautos site. I can get you the part number if you need it.

On the compass only mirror you only need to hook up pins 1 & 2.

Yes I do. Install is real simple. The compas only need +12 volts switched and ground. The one with the temp sender has two additional wires that need to be ran to the sender.
