My friend has decided to return this supercharged 3800 to the junkyard from where he pulled it a week from the 26th, the potential customer we have is reluctant. my friend needs to cut ties with the engine we pulled. because he bought a complete BUILT setup.
800 obo for those who can pick it up themselves.
delivery to florida residents is still offered.

I saw a 3800 SC complete in a local CL listed for more then 2 months for $300..... I should have picked it up.... I just searched for the add and it is gone gone gone..... LOL always like this..... Not that I need one I bought a LT1 (that turned out to be a TPI) for my engine swap for a $1500 but seen them go for as little as $400...
Such is life.....

i cant afford it right now, because I cant handle even a stock fiero, being the ticket magnet that its been.
I do regret wasting my money on 2.5's and 2.8's but ive only done so to get what I had on the road at that point, and to make it reliable. by now I could have easily had a bad ass 3800 and dealing with burnt clutches, tires, and transmission problems.
and he wants to sell it instead of returning it to the junkyard.

So in that case would he sell for junkyard/ scrap prices?
junkyard scrap price was 575. 650 should be plenty fair if you take into account the amount of time it took to get that engine out of the car we pulled it from.
if you were to go to a salvage yard, you would pay more than that for an already pulled one. (personal experience, almost 800 for a replacement duke, that I had to drive 2 hours to get myself... NEVER AGAIN)

Good buy. If that engine was within a few hours driving distance of my state it would be long gone. I cant believe that someone in AL, GA or SC hasn't bought it yet. Several of Dean Cains former customers are out engines or had worn out/bad high mileage engines installed so there should be a market. If you put it on eBay it would sell quickly but you would have to strap it to a pallet (or crate it) and add maybe $200 for truck freight or if there are any trucks going North maybe you could work a deal for delivery.
