Like the title says I'm looking for a getrag transmission and parts. I need them so I can swap from an auto to a 5 speed when I put the super duty engine in my Indy. Who's got one they are wanting to sell?

I was at a salvage yard not to far from you a few years ago and there was a failed 3800 swap with a getrag. I don't know if he still has it, but its worth a phone call. I will pm the info to you.

if you were closer, I have a 89 Getrag from a Beretta GT. 152K so I can't swear on it. But shipping would suck.

Shipping isn't that bad. Boxing it up isn't any fun! Someone used a plastic tote.

How soon do you need it? I have a Getrag that is currently in a Formula, which will be replaced with an F23.

I just tried this using a tote for a Getrag 284, it did'nt work. Damn thing was too heavy for the tote. Then i mounted it to a 24"x18" plywood base with the tote as a top/cover. with all the wood and support bracing it was too heavy and awkward to lift.

I look forward to seeing how Schram sends my F40???

Have you considered possibly using a Getrag F23?

I've shipped them in a cardboard box before myself with no problem. Someone mentioned tote. Glad you tried it, sorry it didn't work for you.
James, you have PM.
