This is true, However the mounting bracket for the convenience center is going to need some tweaking on the earlier models. It was never intended to have a subwoofer so it's not exactly a 100% bolt-in.

On pre 86 you need to replace the heater core cover and the right vertical carpet support with the same parts from any 86-88. Then it bolts right in, no tweaking. I can supply the two plastic parts needed.

Does the system work on all radios? If so I am next in line behind FieroGT42.
The amp on these has no built in relay. On non stock radios a relay needs to be installed in the wiring harness , I will supply the relay and diagram, easy to do. Can do it before I send it also. Don't think FieroGT42 is going to take it.
