Putting together a 3.4 liter motor out of a 94 camaro and decided I'd rather go with the 87-88 timing cover and oil pan to get away from the 2 piece of crap oil pan gasket set.

I'd use the camaro one, except i bought the motor off a guy I know who had it in his Isuzu Trooper with all the trooper 2.8 liter hardware. But at least the holes were drilled in the right spot.

So anyone have a 87-88 timing chain cover? I don't really need the oil pan. Was going to buy a new one anyway.

Check out Fiero Jon. I got a cover from him about a year ago.

I don't know exactly. I wanted a fiero specific one so the timing index and marks are in the same spot.

Yeah, I've also got an 85-86 timing cover sitting in a box with a spare oil pan. After all of the headache keeping the oil pan in my '86 GT sealed up, I decided putting an 87-88 timing cover and oil pan on my 3.4 liter build would be the right idea.

Regardless, I've managed to find one from a forum member and it's taken care of.

Thank you though.
