Looks good now 12 years later. I would be excited if something like that were for sale. What's in the showrooms now bores me to tears.

It's pretty obvious where the current Cadillac's take their styling cues from. I saw a dark red Cadillac CTS 2 door the other week that I thought was a beautiful car only a little big for my tastes. I have to say that at least the current Cadillac's don't look generic like most all of the other cars available.

I am looking forward to this ATS Coupe . Should be sporty with the 320hp v6 (curb weight around 3500 lbs) .

Loved that concept car when it came out in 2002
https://www.fiero.nl/forum/A...020511-1-013749.html

It was featured in the 2005 film "The Island"

Looking at the specs, I think I'd rather have the 2.0 liter. It makes more torque, and the peak torque is available over a very broad range of 3000-4600 RPM, vs the 4800 RPM peak point of the 3.6. And the V6 is only available with the automatic, while the 2.0 has a manual available. Though I am surprised the auto isn't a 7 speed.

If they would really produce the Cien, I know several people that would jump at the chance to buy one. Myself included.
I haven't seen very many 'Concept' cars that I would buy. But the Cien is one where I wouldn't hesitate.

That car is included as a prize car in Gran Turismo 4 on the PS2 (yes, I can't afford a PS3 or 4...all my money goes into my real cars).

There was some better footage of the car, from The Island. This is all I could find. (Has a lot of CGI effects.)
Superb SciFi. See it if you get a chance.

And here's a photochop that Curly posted a while back.

I want to even drive the new hybrid! I just love the styling, I just can't justify having anymore vehicles until I hit the lottery or get a divorce. Which one is mostlikely to happen well ......

One has to wonder if that's what could have been if the Fiero line continued on.

The Cien was one of a couple of ways I had thought of going with my '88, before choosing to go with a widebody 288, bottom of page 4 is fairly close to where I'm going with my car.

https://www.fiero.nl/forum/F...1/HTML/091128-4.html

As much as I like the Cien, I want to drive it in my life, and I don't see that happening with the Cien, too much to create from scratch as a hobby, now if someone wanted to buy one and was willing to write the check, (a rather large one. ) That would be different.
