We're going Back to the 80's in MN on June 17th of 2017!

Join us in Blaine, MN at the National Sports Center for an ALL Inclusive car show featuring the best of 80's cars, music and outfits!

This is an ALL-Inclusive Event: Ford, Pontiac, Chevy, Dodge, Nissan, Mazda, Toyota, Jaguar, Porsche, Ferrari, etc... you get the idea.
Whether domestic or imported, showroom stock or modified to the point of being unrecognizable - we want YOU there.
Even if it's your rusty project car, or daily driver (we really do love those things) - If it was made in the 80's... bring it out!
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________

But what about my 1979... or my 1992...?
We're looking for cars that truly represent the 80's, and this show is to be more fun than technical, the essence of 80s.
If your late-70's vehicle was produced into the early 80's, or if your vehicle began production in the 1980's and carried
into the early 90's (example: 3rd Gen F-Body & Fox-Body Mustangs, etc), it's allowed too.
In the end, we'll still leave the voting up to participants, we think our attendees know what they want to see in the Best of the 80's!
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________

Pre-Registration is for 1 parking spot at the National Sports Center [Main Parking Lot - West] for the duration of the show,
and a goody bag with Dash Plaque (for the first 150 registrants*). T-Shirts are also available for pre-order during pre-registration.

Parking is non-classed: first-come, first-served. If you wish to park with others, please arrive together. Parking spots will not be held.

Food will be available for sale on the premises during the event. Participants can bring their own food and/or drinks - no glass or alcohol are allowed.
Trophies will be awarded for: Best In Show, Spectator's Choice, Top 10 Domestic, and Top 10 Import cars - by way of popular vote during the show.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________

Gates open @ 8am. Voting will take place from 10am-1pm. Awards @ 2:30pm.

Pre-registration & shirt orders will be available online until May 14th, 2017.
On-Site Registration the day of the event will be $15/car, and only a limited number of shirts will be available.
Refunds for pre-registration & shirt orders can be requested until May 14th, 2017.
After that date, refunds may not be issued. This is a rain or shine event - refunds will not be issued for weather or "Acts of God".
*Quantities are subject to change by the organizers at any time.

---------------------------------

Pre-registrations opened last night and are already running strong, with a huge variety of some of the 80's most iconic cars planning to be there.
We have a host hotel available for our out of towners at a discount rate, so make this your destination for the summer!

We are also looking for sponsors!

To bad too far for me to go, someone should get some cardboard cut outs of Hall & Oats to put on their Fiero for the show.

Sadly, I can't make it, but I'll pass it on to a buddy of mine who is a Delorean owner and die hard 80s movie memorabilia collector. I know he'll be all over this, and he'd probably come dressed as Batman, Mad Max, Jason Voorhees, or Marty McFly. His costumes are on legit, movie quality replicas, as if having a DeLorean didn't attract enough attention already.. lol

We cleared 150 pre registered, and decided to raise the quantity.
To get one of these very 80s, very awesome dash plaques you need to be one of the first 250 pre registered!

Its looking like this could easily be a pre register only event, meaning all available spots could easily fill up with pre paid cars before the gates open day of the show. Get tickets now if you plan to bring a vehicle up

Sponsors welcome, vendor spaces available.

If you are considering bringing a vehicle to this event we suggest you pre register now, we expect the lot to be full by preregistration with likely no day-of entry space.

Also if you would like to sponsor and get your name on the T shirts for this Inaugural show the cut off date to sponsor for getting on the shirts is *now May 13.

Each year the Midwest Fiero Clubs traditionally chooses a Model Year and Trim level to honor.
For 2017 we are doing something a little different.
At each MWFC member show the Fiero with the "Best representing interpretation of a custom interior" will be chosen and given a special award.
All winners are then invited to the Northern Illinois Fiero Enthusiasts' Fierorama Weekend where they will compete to be crowned the Best Custom Interior.
You can bring your Fiero with a custom interior to the Back to the 80's- MN Carshow to compete!
Make sure to pre register online soon if you plan to attend.

After this show a few people said they were now interestd in getting a Fiero. Also two kids probly around 18 were super interested and I talked to them a while about Fieros and showed them some stock vs modified stuff.
I think this show is a great thing for exposure for Fieros, and other under appreciated 80s cars too.

Looks like it was a great show indeed!! Really digging that Shelby Charger. Really wish I could have made it. Do you know if they will be doing it again next year?
