The 2019 Don Hulse Memorial Cruise is scheduled for April 13, 2019. This is the same date as our regularly scheduled meeting, but the cruise will take its place. There will be no business meeting at The Galaxy Diner. You may also recognize Don as AeroDonamic.

The Starting Point is The North Georgia Racing Museum and Dawsonville City Hall at approximately 9 AM. The Atlanta Motorsports Park was considered, but special arrangements must be made to have them open the gates for us at no charge.

We will wander up and down the Hills and through the Foothills of North Georgia, drive up to Brasstown Bald if you like, or stop outside Helen and see the celebrated White Bat, and most of all, just have a good day together. Though this is a cruise, there are ample roads for you to exercise your suspension if you desire.

This isn't a cruise intended exclusively for Fieros. Come in your Soccer Van, Ballet Bus, Mud Bogger, Yugo, or Classic Car. Everyone is welcome. Invite your friends to come along. There are no entry fees, but Donations for our 2019 Charity, The American Cancer Society, would be accepted.

Our final destination will be The Smith House in Dahlonega. All you can eat Country Cookin'. When the platter is empty, they'll bring more, so there's no need to fight over that last biscuit or chicken leg. Seating is at old style long tables, so lots of folks to jibber-jabber with, as long as you remember to not talk with your mouth full.

Now, you've all been given ample time to get this on your schedule. No excuses. Let's see if we can have a little more club spirit and participation than we have had in 2018.

We use FRS radios for communication among the group. Keeps everyone connected and there's always lots of fun chatter going on.

Today TopNotch and I did a trial run to document the route. Here are a few pictures from the day.

Headwaters of the Chattahoochee River and an obstacle course on the outskirts of Helen, Ga. This one of the many streams, lakes and rivers along our drive.

On the Richard B. Russell Parkway, looking Southwest toward Atlanta, somewhere over the horizon.

Looking Southeast from the same location.

And it was forecast to be 61* in Atlanta, today.

Across the road from the ice cliff, looking Northeast back toward Brasstown Bald.

There is too much more to post. Best to come along on April 13 and see it for yourself.
