Fieros Forever in Sanford Michigan wiped out in floods yesterday. Video shows at least 6 Fieros scattered around in the water. Toward end of video @ 11:00, 11:15, and 11:30-11:50 minute marks.
Worse... Many Businesses and others likely doesn't have Flood Insurance and most car owners w/o car loans don't have Full coverage Car Insurance.
Even w/ Flood Insurance can take Years for them to payout. Many are still waiting after Sandy slammed NY and NJ.

I don't post here much anymore, but can attest to the damage and my heart was sunk when I saw his cars lost.... my forum name is based on my first car which was bought from Tim (he got it back many years later and it is probably flooded by his building). I haven't kept up with him in several years, but back in the early 2000s he had over 30 fieros. I've been in that building many times since he got it, and he had some nice cars and stuff in there, including some rare parts.... Back in the 2000s he did have some fieros parked at his house but I don't know as of now.... I went into Sanford tonight and came by one fiero that had been completely submerged. The water level is down now. Our dam system failed and has caused tens of millions in damages.....
Anyways, his building is severly damaged, as another house floated off its foundation and crashed into his building.
Before the dams failed he moved his cars further down the road but the upper dam failed and everyone had to quickly evacuate, thus the cars were sealed to their fate....
1) I would be willing to buy one of these cars as long as it does not sit too long... If hit soon enough the ones that didn't flip shouldn't be too terrible to get back up
2) If he isn't willing to sell, I would be willing to deep clean and get one back up and going to help out.
This sucks.. I dont want to see these cars die this way..
he can hit me up at 515-777-8751 text or call is fine

If anyone gets in touch with him and can use some help moving things or whatnot I’m in Bay City and would be happy to help. Have a truck and trailer and elbow grease!
This is heart breaking.... He had some beautiful cars ... I really hope the cars are saved flooded, flipped or what ever from this and he doesn't loose everything?
I’m also in Michigan. My mother in law only lives a few miles from Sanford. I agree the cars could be saved. I know he was planning on auctioning things off this summer. I wonder what will happen now. Would love to save as much as possible.
Hopefully they aren't all just hauled off to the junkyard. Freshwater flooding can be fixed, at worst these would be VERY nice parts cars. I'd re-body my 84 with that 88 GT's panels
That is very sad. What a bummer. I hope they had some insurance.
Sidenote: Don't get in a rollover in a Fiero. Why are the upside down Fieros so smashed like they were in a crusher?
He parked them down the street because in 2017’s flood that’s what he did and everything was fine.... well no one really considered what would happen with two dam failures and it was too late for him to rescue them. They were floated and due to the amount of water some were flipped. Make no mistake, all of them were completely underwater
Ok, I got a hold of Tim and he is requesting some potential help. 989-687-2905. But he also needs to deal with insurance as well. His wife said they’re organizing something. Once they send it to me there is a go fund me setup as well. The cars are all going to be titled as salvage flood.
Please call him and especially talk to the wife to figure out what’s needed. Please don’t just goto Sanford without getting some info. Western side of Sanford is impassable to eastern side except via M20 detour as Saginaw road is highly damaged.

I’ll also say this nicely and lovingly but want to point out as well that he has always had high minded prices on his cars before the damage... so I hope he’ll wheel and deal but he definitely had some very high evaluations in the past. But all of his most precious cars were all flooded and even pushed out the back of the shop into the ditch. Everything is very damaged, besides the ones that floated around town.
I work 8 miles down the road from Fieros Forever.....I was literally there last weekend when my wife and I went out for a drive, just before this all happened.
I'm devastated for Tim, he is a great guy who loves Fieros and has a real passion for them. This is a tragedy. The pictures above give a good idea of the destruction that occurred, but nothing like what it is like in person. Many homes and businesses were lost, the true dollar amount has yet to be calculated.
I am going to be gone this weekend, but I am game to help in some way once I’m back – working from home for the foreseeable future, so should have some free time. I will continue to monitor this thread, but if anyone finds anything out with a shorter leadtime to help, please don’t hesitate to give me a call. I’ll be happy to help if I can make the time.
I'm in the metro Detroit area, but might be able to lend a hand or donate cash since I have the weekend off through Tuesday. Thanks for bringing awareness to this. I currently own a 1985GT.
So sad to see this. Only 60 miles north of me and I never knew about it. I would have liked to visit the building. Some of the very best Fieros, now gone.
