Hey Dennis, you really know how to stir up the crowd!! Maybe I'll hop over to the Cadillac forum and mention I found a source for new XLR tail lights!!
There unavailable for a GM car that's only 10 years old.

I originally found a new source of Fiero headlight motors that look different that the Cardone ones. They looked like they were made completely of plastic. After inquiring further they were also the Gen II units. That was the false alarm. Now if only the limit switch inserts were reproduced, then successful rebuilds can be done with consistency. Maybe one day the Chinese will see a market and produce the Gen1 motors or make a swap harness kit so that the Gen II motors can be used..
