a.k.a. "moving to a new house and I can't take everything with me" sale
Hi everyone I'll be putting more details and pics up later but I wanted to get a placeholder for it. Here's a basic list of what I've got. I'll basically be able to keep one 'fun toy', and the rest will need to go, as parts or whole.
- $600 86 GT automatic. Sold! - Lots of misc parts, interior and exterior. Odds and ends off of engines. Multiple transmissions.
Edit for some prices. If no one takes the 86GT car whole (or as whole as it is), I'll start parting it out. The brakes and sway bars are a bit high because I'm torn on keeping them but if someone really wants them I'll let them go for that.
Edit again: "local sponsorship" has stepped in on some things, so I'm taking them off the list. I will now start parting out the GT, unless someone requests the whole car (price will reduce some based on number of parts removed at the time of request).

Curious on the price of the .... - 86 GT automatic. Red w/ gray bottom stripe, tan interior. Was parked a couple years ago and hasn't run since. Still have title but would need work. I currently can't find the keys but has a lot of nice parts.
Alright, sorry for the delay, the day got away from me. I can get more details in the morning but wanted to get at least something up here for everyone. Thanks for all the responses so far
The red gt I'd take $600 for. Sorry CTFieroGT87, that one's gone Some of its parts are on the race car, though It's dark outside so this is the only pic I have of it right now:
Some misc pieces, representative of some of the boxes I have:
Edit: removing things no longer available

Now that it's daylight, here's some more pics of the 86gt. I can't open the decklid since the battery's dead and I don't have the keys. I might try to pick it or something, though. Trust me there's an engine and transmission in there The tranny was leaking fluid and I didn't get around to repairing it, which is what made it sit in the first place. The last registration on it expired april 2012, to give you an idea of time.
Updated first post with some prices. There's been a bit of interest in the transmission so I'd just like to stress again I haven't run it, and it's really designed for a track car. My understanding is there's dog clutches in it so shifting requires finesse, and the straight cut gears make a bit of a whine. Reading back through the original thread, it seems there might be some ambiguity on the LSD portion, so for "better safe than sorry" reasons I'll leave it out of the description, though I believe it does have one. Not trying to scare anyone off, I just want to be as honest and up front as I can. I don't want someone to find it's not what they thought it was after they get it. Thanks!

- $4000 86 race car. Last run in chumpcar 2 years ago, was current on tech inspection at the time. New engine is in but hasn't run yet. Partway through replacing all wiring (the previous wiring was a horror). Could come with lots of parts, or be separated for other teams who want some (accusump, sets of tires, engine components, hubs, brakes, etc). Over $6k into it, if I remember the receipt tally correctly.
I hate to be that guy, but you might be a bit optimistic at $4k. That is Spec Neon or ITB car money.
For example, we bought the Blue Shells Accord for $1800, which came with a crap-ton of spares and has multiple Class B wins. The team showed us a receipt tally even north of what you've got in so far. Here's another recently sold Lemons car: $1526

I know, it's ok I'm not expecting to get that for it. I know if I started at 1800, some people would want it for 900, etc.

Ahh now I see the logic. Depending on how the next week or so unfolds, I may be interested in it. Our team is developing a dynamic where two Fiero guys are really motivated to get to the races and are working on the Accord, and the other four guys are indifferent. For our labors, we'd rather run a Fiero than an Accord, even if it does have a winning record.
Can you clarify the "racing transmission"? Manual or auto?
