So I'm going to keep this short for now since I don't have much time, but I will give any information anyone wants and will be able to get more pictures, if needed, sometime this weekend.
I bought this 88 Fiero GT 2 years ago. It ran fine for about a month, then it developed an oil leak and a coolant leak. I had done a temporary fix for them since I had plans to change a bunch of old looking pipes and tubes and some other parts anyway. Then I had to go and let my father drive it, who knows how to drive a manual, but since he didn't drive one in a while before that still managed to mess it up. The gearstick would get stuck sometimes at first and then it stopped shifting at all. I figured it would be a better idea to just take the whole engine out and put a different one in. I have some mechanics experience, but little did I know, I was getting myself in over my head. Needless to say what I had in mind would take a lot of time and money. And as I started working more and having more expenses, I was having less and less of both. And now I'm planning on taking my life in a completely new direction by joining the military, so I definitely won't have time for it. My parents are also going through a divorce and the car is at moms while I live at my dads but that's beside the point. My cousins that live next door, whom we share the driveway with are putting pressure on me to move it out of there already.
So now I have half a Fiero sitting in my driveway, that I have to get rid of even though I don't want to. If I could I'd keep it until I had the time and money for it, but it's been sitting there for almost a year now and I haven't touched it. I keep it covered and uncover it every now and then to dry out any moisture build up. Everything that was taken off the car (hoods, engine + cradle, bumpers, etc,...) is all being kept in a storage shed nearby. All the pieces are there + a bunch of tools I will need to get rid of too (cherry picker, air compressor and other handheld tools). The car has just a little rust on the frame, the most rusted part was under where the battery was and I ran into a problem where the 2 rear cradle bolts were just spinning in the air and had to be cut in order to get the cradle out, so some welding would probably be needed to get the engine back in. I will try to get more detailed pictures this weekend, including pictures of everything thats in the shed.
Since I'm short on time and I'm not sure what else I should add at the moment, I'm going to end it by saying that because of the condition the car is in at the moment, I have no asking price. I'm looking for someone to give me an offer and as long as I think it's reasonable, I'll take it. The biggest catch here is that you need to somehow come get this car and all its parts on your own, there is no way I can get it to you. This is part of why I have no fixed price on it. I understand that transporting this will probably cost more than it's worth. If you would need some time to work on it before you can take it out of there that would be fine by me too, I could give you the keys to the shed and you can come and go as you will. If I really have to I will sell this car in parts, but I'm really looking for someone to come and take all of it away at once.
The first three pictures are of the car before I took it apart to show you that indeed it was in one piece and running before I took it apart. I have pictures of me working on it too and the car up in the air when I was taking the engine out. The rest of the pictures are what it looks like now.
Feel free to ask any questions and I will answer as soon as possible, if you want to send me an offer just PM me.
Bump. Someone needs to take this car off my hands please, the last thing I want to do is scrap it, that would just make me really sad. Someone please take it, even if I have to give it away!!!!
Try to be a bit patient- you only posted this a couple of days ago. There are very few people in the world who would actually buy a Fiero, running or not, so it takes time to find them. You should also post on the Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto fiero forums. The car looks pretty good, though I am not sure why you took the bumpers, trunklid, etc, off- probably would be easier to sell complete. Good luck with the sale
how many are you looking ???? maybe we can try to put a wtb list on club fiero montreal and maybe as a group buy we will buy it but we need a member that want to part out

If you guys find someone to part it out, I can buy the cradle, steering rack, and coolant pipes. Hopefully someone restores this car- it is too nice to part out, but please keep me in mind if you do find someone to part it out. It is too difficult for me to bring this car home and can't tow it well without the rear suspension
Parting it out? You're just kidding, right? Have you seen the trunk and engine bay? Parting it out would be a true tragedy. That being said, it would be nice to know which options it has, as that isn't clearly visible in the photos, since you haven't included a photo of the interior.
Which neighborhood are you in? I could come by and take more photos to share here and in the Club Fiero Montréal Forum.

Sorry for not replying guys, I've been a bit busy over the past few days and completely forgot to check for answers on here. I knew it wouldn't sell fast, I was just freaking out a bit to get rid of it because of my family pressuring me. My father has also convinced me a little to try and get it fixed since he knows i really love this car and would rather keep it. I told him I couldn't because I didn't have the money and he said that he would be willing to give me money to help fix it, but for that I would need someone who knows about these cars more than me to help, since I only have a basic knowledge of Fieros and wouldn't be able to do it all myself. Obviously I would pay whoever would help, not looking for free.
So, I apologize if I wasted anyone's time, but for the moment I'm looking for someone around Montreal that would be willing to come help me to just get the car back in running condition. After that we will see what happens.
If the thread needs to be moved to another section of the forum now because it's in the wrong one, feel free to move it.
Again, sorry if I wasted anyone's time or caused anyone who was interested in coming to get the car any headaches, but like I mentioned in my original post, if can find anyway to keep this car rather than get rid of it, I definitely will.
Will you sell passenger side quarter window, sunroof weather strip / seal, driver's side tail light, inner door weatherstrips ( both sides)??? Shipping to FL 33401

I think you would be better off just starting an entirely new thread in the "Construction Zone" or "Technical Discussion" section, and asking precise questions about what you need to fix on your Fiero. The people here are extremely helpful. The same goes for the Forum in the Club Fiero Montréal (which is bilingual, btw): http://www.fieromontreal.com/smf_forum/index.php

FYI you cant start a thread in the Construction Zone Cliff moves it there when the thread is of some sort deserving or by popular demand.... regards Danyel
