That kit makes for a beautiful install on a show/hobby car, especially on the 84-85 models that have the Gen 1 motors. Have been thinking about them for a while so maybe on my next build. The light pattern is not optimal for a daily driver but for a cruise in event or show it really has a nice look.

As you take the old unite out you will unplug the headlite sealbeam(three prong plug). And a round single plug(motor controler).Undo four 10mm nuts.Noting where the four nuts came from.Plug in the harness with the fuse holder and relay to the bracket assembly on the drivers side. The 10mm nuts are put unto the bottom studs. The bracket assembly is slipped onto these studs. The other two 10 mm nuts can now go into the top of the bracket and onto the to two studs in the firewall. At this time tighten all four nuts.Plug together the three prong connecters. The yellow wire is the hot feed to the relay,it needs a hot feed. This same procedure is done on the right side without the relay feed. With the front hatch open without lenses or buckets in place you can adjust the lights. The lenses and buckets only fit the correct side.Make sure the tabs on the bottom of the lenses fit into the corresponding slots. On the top of the buckets are two holes. These holes are for the two 10mm headed screws to go through that you need to take off when the old headlight doors came off.So this is how this goes. The lens goes in.Then the bucket goes in. Then the bucket retainer goes on.Then the two 10mm headed screws hold everything in place. If you are going to paint the buckets I would suggest doing it before you do anything else.I will be here a long time so if you have any more question feel free to ask.
Proper binder with pix and drawings, captions and list of tools is coming right after I catch up with product. To many people have been waiting to long for Munson's light kit.I have been looking for an original to no avail. If anyone out there has one please send me a copy.I don't believe I have ever seen one all the time Kris was sending out these kits.R.T.
Would you be able to post approximate dimensions of the buckets? My 88 GT-based replica has poorly constructed headlights which were built / installed by a previous owner. I need a replacement, as the existing lights are about useless for driving at night.
My car has a TR replica body, so the headlight opening dimensions are probably not the same as the OEM Fiero, so dimensions would be helpful. Don't want to purchase and discover I can't fit them without excessive hood modification, etc. Thank you.
The best way to find out if Munson lites will fit your car is to show me pix of your car,This would be the fastest way to see if the lenes fit.I know the brackets will fit any fiero. But it sounds like you may have more interest in how the lenses fit.R.T.

I used to have photos up at MadMechanics, which is a replica / kit forum, but then PhotoBucket broke the links to everyone's photos. I'll be out of town over the weekend, but next week I'll try to find (or take) new photos that show the hood area better.

I emailed scanned copies of the install instructions I received long ago from Kris to thelinsells@cox.net.
Hope this helps....great kit....looks great. I have modified mine a few times for better lighting and my most recent now has projectors and work great.
As requested...my conversion of the Munson kit to projectors. This was all custom. Basically as you will see in the pics below I created a metal "back" for the back of the bucket. I removed the sealed beam brackets completely as the projectors (and a small LED for DRL) mount directly to the backing plate I created. I can adjust the tilt using the bolt on the bottom and it seems to work well. There is very little room behind the bucket so you need to ensure you get small enough projectors. Please excuse the dust...been a long project
This is a great kit...I just wanted a little more light.
