I have had this car listed here several times over the years but now it seriously needs a new home.

$1,000 Firm

You can drive it home. I still drive it every now and then. Has been tagged the entire 4 years I have owned it. Yes it runs good, the AC blows cold even on 100 degree days, windows and headlights go up and down, door locks work, radio works, sunroof doesn't leak. Besides the rust this could be a daily driver for someone.

Start off with the bad first:

True mileage unknown, odometer shows 71,000, runs strong
rust in the trunk - I covered the rust with foil tape to keep things dry - see photos
e-brake not hooked up - have a used caliper to fix the e-brake

The good stuff :

4 cyl
5 speed
Clutch feels good
short shifter
stainless steel brake and fuel lines
stainless braided brake hoses
AC conpressor replaced last spring
Belt replaced with the compressor
upgraded headlights
20" rims with good rubber - no spacers needed they fit perfect - chrome is pitted
interior in good shape except for drivers seat back has a wear spot from getting in
sunroof
GT steering wheel
Inner and outer tie rods recently in March
Recent 4 wheel alignment
New battery this past spring
Paint in decent shape

the person who bought my car is not on this site. Just a local a local guy wanting a $1000 beater car for the beach.

It is a shame someone on Pennocks did not get it as it had a lot of extras on it.

Parting it out would be worth more than what i was asking for a driver with cold air.

Maybe it'll grow on him and he'll get interested or maybe someone around him will be influenced by it.
