I had a buddy break out into song fully believing that he was singing the correct words. I thought it was a strange song to be so confused about which made it even more hilarious. This happened years ago, but for whatever reason that memory popped into my head today and I got to chuckle a bit. Anyone else got some good ones? Werewolves of London had become Where was the Governor? in his mind.

I always liked that song, but I never understood the words. I meant to look it up and now I have. Thanks!

I remember when my eldest daughter was about 9 years old this song came on the radio while we were out driving. She piped up on the chorus "Everybody in the club eatin chipsies" LOL. The actual chorus is "Everybody in the club gettin tipsy".

I think some know they are singing the wrong words, some do and change the words to what they want to be more personalized for them.
Then there are those singers like Bob Dylan, who the fk can understand anything he sings ?
