I don't believe that we have seen the last of the Fiero GT tail light covers. There was big money invested in the molds and I'll assume that the covers will be back one day without the Pontiac markings just the same as all other aftermarket repair parts are sold. ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite. Someone will need to step up, lease the tool and incur the costs. I can unequivocally say that Keith, himself, will not be manufacturing them.

I was just curious if anyone knew approximately how many reproduction sets were sold? There's quite a market left for lenses I would assume.
It's odd how many owners I come across who are not active online... including from car shows.

That's what's throwing me off. People drive around here in California with their cars so beat up yet no one makes an effort to simply type Fiero.com and see what happens.

While still a nice number......it far too little for the amount of GT's still left on the road. Not to mention the many who purchased multiple sets (for backup and such).

No one really knows how many fastbacks are left, but there were about 40K fastbacks produced. If you assume 4%, 5% & 6% scrap rate per year (starting in 1989) then there would be 10K, 7K and 5K of fastback still existing in 2022. The real number is likely somewhere in that range.

On eBay today (Feb 2023) ‘ghosttrading’ is asking $1,186 for the set {$1,000 plus $83 shipping and $103 taxes}

I have one set left for $800 if anyone is interested but the catch is no shipping...

This is not one of the defective sets that had the delamination problem, this is one of the good sets.
PS: If you live far away and really need them, maybe you can arrange to have somebody pick them up and ship them to you.[This message has been edited by Skybax (edited 02-27-2023).]
