Car looks great. It is the exact twin of my car (88 GT/ 5 speed/Beechwood)

The suspension drop is perfect- love the seats too !

Nicely done!

Updated staus - Will most likely be a while before next updates. Bigger brakes next upgrade on the list.

I finally bought Fieroguru's 13" brake kit. I couldn't be happier with the kit and results. His products are top notch.

Here you can see the size difference.

Here you can see the old brakes with 18" wheels.

Here you can see the bracket installed. Very easy installation.

Here is the overlap of the two rotors.

The new kit installed.

The new kit with 18" wheels. It looks way better.

You squished your car, it looks short!

I put the big brake kit on my 4.9 Formula about a month ago with a set of 17s.

Holy cow! That's what the car needed. I called Paul and gave him a big pat on the back!

Yeah, I'm not sure why the picture loaded that way. I'll get some better shots once I bleed the brakes. The kit is really nice. Your car looks great too with the kit and the wheels.

Some shots before the brake upgrade

I have the exact suspension set up. What are the offsets front and back for the rims?

*Saw you already posted that info. Reading is hard.

Glad to see the good feedback on the kit!

The parts quality couldn't be better and the upsizesd rotors really improve braking without changing pedal feel.

It's a great upgrade for any 88 Fiero with large enough wheel diameter!

Two thumbs up!

Finally got the brakes bled and out for pics. Car is dirty and brakes need some adjustment but what a turnout. You wouldn't expect much of a difference with the stock calipers, but wow this thing stops.

olejoedad JUN 19, 01:30 PM
Pssst! It's not the calipers, it's the rotors....

The extra leverage from moving the calipers away from the centerline of rotation makes all the difference.
