I like that look a lot, but the Suby does not have the side belt trim. I think if I leave that black then that will be enough. All the rest white.

Like so? Trying this color scheme on a white Fiero with aero trim hadn't occurred to me. I can dig it! Leaving the rocker panels and the bottom aero trim white gets rid of the "raised" illusion that occurs when all the aero trim and especially the rockers are black.

Everyone always argues between fastback or notchies but you figured out what I did. Have a little of both

That is not what I meant, but that looks pretty damn cool.
I am not painter, but I figure even I can tape off some trim and spray it if I want to change the color.
And thanks for the link.

When I painted the rockers silver on my red Formula, I went about it a slightly different way...

I removed the rocker panels recently from my Formula in order to change them from black to silver. I used a foam roller to apply silver (aluminum) Rustoleum type paint on the rockers, and it came out pretty good. I painted the flange along the bottom black though, as I didn't want the irregular shape to stand out under the car.
...to re-attach the rockers. I just used galvanized bolts and washers. I dipped the washers and the heads of the bolts into black Rustoleum paint, and brushed anti-seize onto the bolt threads before putting it all back together. Even if it rusts a bit, if I ever take this apart again, it'll be easier than taking those factory rivets out.

I just painted mine white, the roof is going to be black (I'm just waiting for parts to finish the sunroof conversion).

As long as your having it painted white, here's an idea, talk your painter about adding a Pearl to the paint. Would add a pop to the white & shouldn't add much more to the cost.

Nice look. You even went to white mirrors.

I will look at all my options, but the favorite car I ever had was an Integra Type-R that was just plain "championship white". I'll probably go with something like that.
