I went to Icar at the Mirabel Airport today. It was a hot day, 28 °C at race hour!
Overall, it's about where I expected to be.
I'm in the "PONT" in the right lane.
The 60' time was not much better than the 2.106 60' best time I did with a stock 2.8 Fiero...
Launching at 3k RPM resulted in massive wheelspin, so I launched at about 2k instead. Still, I had to modulate the throttle through all of 1st gear; not enough traction to really floor the gas pedal in 1st.
I didn't try launching off idle; down that low, the turbo is completely dead.
Honest Don: if you create a 1/8 mile list, I'll submit my entry to your list.[This message has been edited by pmbrunelle (edited 08-01-2020).]

What are you using for tires? I’m not sure I’m the best choice for maintaining a list; my online presence is somewhat irregular.

I presently have 215/60R14 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires at all four corners on stock wheels.
It is in the plans to get bigger more fancy wheels/tires for the car. This will have a similar effect as a slightly taller final drive.
On the street the car hooks OK, considering that I usually launch off-idle. Also most road surfaces stick better than the rubberized surface of the dragstrip.
Of course, my impressions regarding traction may change when I crank up the boost.

I wasn't interested enough to run a 1/8 mile list myself; I was just saying that if you really wanted to, I'd submit my timeslip as a contribution to your list.[This message has been edited by pmbrunelle (edited 08-06-2020).]

I decided to converted your time/mph with this Wallace Racing converter: http://www.wallaceracing.com/et-conversion.php
Screenshot:
I inserted it into the list. Since this is an estimated time, and not a verified time per the current requirements, it is indicated as a white "B-grade" run.
How much boost pressure?[This message has been edited by pmbrunelle (edited 10-31-2020).]

Thanks! Comparing to slips with similar numbers, I think the wallace calc errs on the side of caution but hey, I'll take it.
As for pressure, I think around 14-15? I haven't looked at the logs yet.

I just fed your estimated 1/4 mile stats into the inverse operation pane:
The original mph was exactly recovered. This leads me to believe that Wallace uses unbiased conversion functions for the trap speed.
However, the original ET was not recovered. This suggests a pessimistic conversion function, for at least one of the directions.

Looks like a 13.75 gets it there using the inverse

Log says 16. The tach spikes are a new occurrence; even set off the rev limiter. I guess it’s something to work out over winter.
