Springs issues may not only thing "wrong."
If installed Gas shocks then that add a little more spring & may sit a bit higher. More so if still have old struts in back.

Shocks 3 years old, struts new. The photo of the drivers side is off a few inches.
I don't think much if anything will change when I move it into proper position. It may drop 1/16 Of an inch.
The passenger side I haven't seen yet, tomorrow I'll find out.
After that I'm clueless...
Thanks for chiming in.

Shocks / Struts have absolute nothing to do with ride height, that's what springs are for.

Like the ogre said, newer gas charged shocks/struts apply a pressure to the control arm at all times, where older OEM ones do not. When I replaced my front shocks, but left my old struts, my Fiero looked noticeably nose high, I installed new struts and it's much closer to even now, maybe still a little high in the front though.

Well I straightened out the springs , they weren't off that much. But they are correct now.
And the car is sitting even higher now by 1/4 inch.

For what ever reason it settled down at least 1/2 inch so far... little more on passenger side..

Just to add to this, when I installed new shocks in a Fiero that had original (Y99 suspension) springs, the car immediately sat higher. This was KYB Gas-Adjust shocks. It settled after a few months.
When I installed brand new WS6 springs that I'd purchased from NAPA, along with the old shocks, the car sat up a little higher again, though lower than it did when it had brand new KYBs.

Interesting, my shocks were 4 years old so not new, still can't figure it out but it looks normal now.
