Connected the brown wire from the alternator to B3 on the C500 block. Warning light on the voltmeter now works. Whoever did the wiring on this conversion coulda done a better job.

The Service Engine Soon now comes on when the ignition is switched on. It also goes out once the engine is started.

Installed a trunk release solenoid. Had to get a relay to plug in. Used a Radio Shack pushbutton switch.
Fabbed & installed a holder for front trunk light. Whoop!
Got chime to stop random dings and weak output by resoldering every connection on the back of the chime board. Works like new. [This message has been edited by 30+mpg (edited 10-30-2005).]

Installed rear side marker backing plate & a rear fender liner on the driver's side.
The guy (D. Adam Haston, 98puck on e-bay) from 2448 Forest Shadows Dr., St. Louis that sold me the liner sent me 1 left & 2 right liners. One of the right ones is a correct fit (or so I thought, NOT!). Soo, I have a spare pair for an 86 or earlier coupe once I get the correct one for the left side.
