25 years! (Page 5/6)

Congratulations and THANK YOU, Cliff.

I found this place back in 2001 about a month after 9/11, and its been a second home to me, especially when I found myself far from home.
The forum has kept my Fieros running, and my spirits high. Met a lot of nice folks here, and in RL. Here's to the next 25 years.

Cheers

Thanks Cliff.

Wish this had been around when I got my first Fiero. I knew nothing about cars or Fieros and had to self-learn after being taken by some bad mechanics.

Still think this format is better than social media where it's harder to find specific topics and threads disappear in a day.

The archives are invaluable, I always check those first when I have an issue. And the only thing that is disappointing is a lot of the pictures are unavailable now.

Congratulations, Cliff!

I'll never forget finding PFF. It was Dec '99 and I was in the computer lab my senior year of college surfing the internet (not everyone had a computer/internet at home in those days). At the time, I had NO IDEA it was so new. Up until then, all I had was a FOCOA membership and some parts catalogues as resources. Finding PFF was a true "hallelujah" moment. I've been using it ever since as THE resource for all things Fiero. Common or obscure, nearly every problem has been documented by the good people on this site.

It is difficult to put into words the positive impact your site has had on the community.

I must admit I've been a lurker for these past 25 years using it mostly as a tool for researching issues. I don't recall my last post, but I can't think of a better reason to chime in today! Thank you again and keep up the good work!

Thank you for keeping this wonderful place running, me and your other newer fiero addicts would have been lost. Your doing a great job and keeping the addition alive.

I got my first fiero this winter and as you said this community answers my tiresome questions. Nothing is better than this unique community and your dedication to us and this car.

Many thanks to you Cliff! with the help of this forum, I was able, as a mere computer tech, purchase a rotted out Fiero sitting outside with the windows down, and restore it. This forum and users helped gather, organize and alert so many people to the Tyler Shipman build, as well as MANY other Fiero rescues.

I personally have made so many friends on this forum, in digital form as well bring us together in real life.

This particular thread is a walk down memory lane, as when I scroll to read the messages, I recognize just about all of the screen names and avatars. Sure they/I post still, but it seems to be a concentration of active users all posting in one thread

Thanks for keeping this forum together, Cliff. I'm going on nineteen of those twenty five years Pennock's has been around. Time flies. Your forum and all the members have helped me own 10 Fiero's over those years. Approaching 80 years and I still like the structure and functionality of Pennocks. I've tried using some of the Facebook sites, but can never find what I'm looking for. Keep up the good work.
Maybe the membership will have to find a way to show up over there and clean up that Fiero of yours!
Again, thanks for all you do for the the Fiero and us members. We would be lost without this group.

This forum was the main source of information when I restored my first Fiero in Sweden.

I started working with web development around 1999, and knowing how different the web and Internet were back then, it is impressive that you have kept this forum up and running all these years. Great job, keep it up!

Well, at least I can say I joined in the first year (Dec 1999). I remember by then the forum was extremely active. I also can't believe it has been so long. I still have my 88 Formula V8 (has it since new!) and all I can say is that my whole knowledge of Fieros came from this forum and its members. Thank you Cliff and to every member here for helping Fiero owners all over the world ;-)
