The wings are all the same notch back or fast back.

Thanks, I was not aware of that....and thank you from one Ohioan to another. I'm so glad to be getting back into Fiero's and I'm so glad to see another Ohioan on this board.

Main difference is in the factory gaskets that go under the base of the stands. They WERE different between NB & FB....AND the placement of the rear stud is different, but the factory stands are made to accommodate either position.

84 ad 85 wings were the same as all of the other years, with the exception of the wingstands. 86-88 wingstands had 3 holes in the bottom to accommodate the GT decklid mounting points.

I believe Notch wings uses 2 hole positions from the luggage rack option. Because "Frame" under the lid has holes molded in it to clear the sealing nuts in some spots.
You see this when you see LR install from the bottom.------------------ Dr. Ian Malcolm: Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should. (Jurassic Park)

The wing will provide extra stability starting about 150 MPH but some folks just like the looks. There is one on my GT but I never got it over 120 mph to feel extra stability.. From what I have seen the wing stands offer two different mounting positions. You just need to chose the right one for fastback and notchback.
