I would like to lower my seats or find a way to lower them. I know archie used to do it but dont think he does that type of work anymore. Any other ideas?

I know a few who have gone no rails / non adjustable.

Some of the kit cars use a lowered floor pan to create more headroom with a specific seat.

I just did this a week or so back. I’ll get some pics and post them. If you don’t see them, PM me.
Basically what I did was flatten the bent part of the rail and redrilled The mounting holes. Took about 30 minutes and I gained close to an inch. I did it for some rx7 seats I installed. The wheel was touching my legs at the tilt I like. After, it was back to normal.
I’ll be doing the same mod for my chop with fiero seats. ------------------ SSFiero@Aol.com

PICS would be awesome definitely need a little more headroom with my jimmy seats. they are awesome seats but sit about an inch higher than the fiero as they have spring going across the bottom in the middle and i can get new foam for them.

Anyone done this with the stock seats by chance? I tried doing a search and came up empty handed.
