I can't see the reason to have kept most of the Mercedes cars shown. Only a couple look interesting. The old ones and the 2 door convertibles are keepers.

Yes, that hoarder killed so many great cars. He still wants good money for anything left, a lot of which is beyond repair.

The Mercedes people are saying the same thing about those Fieros.
That guy had his own personal "wildcat" junkyard. Would you want to look out your window and see that in your neighborhood? I know I sure as hell wouldn't.

I'm sure they are. But a 300E? Let it go. I junkyard several times a week and not much interest is given to that type of Mercedes. The Fieros that show up get parted pretty hard.
Since his property across the street is commercial and many of the cars got moved over there, I can't imagine it's much to look at around the neighborhood, but that isn't a point I was making. Scrap those crappy Mercedes to keep the good Mercedes.[This message has been edited by sourmash (edited 08-11-2019).]

Reminds me of the "Cuyama Car Garden" in California. Its all gone now; the owner died and all the best cars got auctioned off very quickly. My friend sneaked in for photos (and passed about forty "No Trespassing" signs) and got run off by a very angry (and very drunk) caretaker a few years ago.

A price of $400 and $500 for basically non running parts cars that spent years in the grass? This man is either ignorant or delusional. He will end up junking them and getting $200 each as the metal content is lower than on other cars. Such as it is with hoarders. They think that they have gold but most of what they own is junk. . ------------------ " THE BLACK PARALYZER" -87GT 3800SC Series III engine, custom ZZP /Frozen Boost Intercooler setup, 3.4" Pulley, Northstar TB, LS1 MAF, 3" Spintech/Hedman Exhaust, P-log Manifold, Autolite 104's, MSD wires, Custom CAI, 4T65eHD w. custom axles, Champion Radiator, S10 Brake Booster, HP Tuners VCM Suite.
