It seems we all have migrated and post a lot more on Facebook than Pennocks, and that's kind of my own fault. But in case not everyone knew, I am now the new owner of the GBCT! I bought it from Dave a few weekends ago and am now on the restoration phase kind of like my Formula was. I have replaced a ton of things so far and continue to go down the list to make it a perfect car again. I have a serious case of OCD on all cars I own and especially Fieros!
So far in a few short weeks, I have used rust oleum and rust proofed both the underside and interior under the carpet, re-painted the interior panels, installed a new battery, new coolant overflow tank that the tab wasn't broke, new KYB shocks, new steering stabilizer, new zero lash front sway bar end links, poly mounted sway bar bushings, changed the oil, filter, fuel filter, new plugs, wires, new speakers all around and bluetooth head unit, and Keith Goodyear Tailights. Next things on the list are Danyel's 4x6 low pro headlights with LED's, LED sidemarkers, new exhaust and headers with new valve covers. Ordered all new suspension for both front and back, new wheel bearings, seals, ball joints and tie rods. I plan to take a look at the fuel tank and probably replace the pump and then replace the starter and alternator and ac compressor for peace of mind. There is a slight leak on the transmission on the seal and plan to get some new axles for it and fix these so I have a spare. Also the e-brake cable needs to be re-mounted as it is riding on the exhaust pipe right now and I think it was even new. I do plan to get some Mr. Mikes seats and Russ's door panels as well.
If anyone has a really nice stock shift knob or a place that sells originals that would be awesome. The one on here is decent but would like to upgrade it. Also either looking for a stock steering wheel or an aftermarket style Momo one. Not sure yet.
The base of the car is all done as everyone knows and looks fantastic. I claybar/buffed and waxed the entire car. Everything is pretty sound on it, just needed some TLC. I am planning on going bigger on the tires to like a 255 in the rear as there are coilovers and the wheels are fairly wide so it should work better than the 235's on there.
I look forward to making this car a show winner and make it something that is all restored to the point that will last many many years to come.

Congrats! Looking forward to new pictures of it. I used to drool over the old low-res pics of that car from the early 00's, it has such a great side profile.

What color shift know are you looking for and is it for an automatic or manual transmission?

Congrats on the purchase, this is definitely one of my two most favorite fieros. Second one was another v8 archie car, the purple pavement eater. Both of these cars I have drooled over for so many years and im glad to see the gbct getting the love it deserves.
